I completely agree with your editorial. I think It is very important that the company understands the value of the data in their systems, for example, how much money is lost due to inadequate designs or due to poor data quality in our servers. At the time the business areas understand the monetary impact obtained by the lack of quality data , they will be interested in these issues. Greetings from Costa Rica.
